Itinerary
Day 1 Sun USA-ATHENS Depart New York via overnight transatlantic flight to Athens. Day 2 Mon ATHENS Upon your arrival, you will be met, assisted & transferred to your hotel. After unpacking, take some time to relax and stroll around. Day 3 Tue ATHENS A morning city tour introduces you to Athens & Greece’s antiquities. Sightseeing is highlighted by the House of Parliament, the Memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the National Library, the Presidential Palace, the Panathenaic Stadium, the Temple of Zeus and Hadrian’s Arch & more. Visit the Acropolis, the Parthenon & the Acropolis museum. The afternoon is free for your own activities. B ![]() |

Day 4 Wed ATHENS (ARGOLIS) Drive south to the impressive Corinth canal for a short stop. Continue to Mycenae where history comes in life with its remarkable Cyclopean Walls, the Tomb of Agamemnon and the 3,000 year old Lion Gate. Then proceed to the picturesque town of Nafplion. After lunch you will proceed to the famous 4th century BC Amphitheater of Epidaurus and experience its astonishing acoustics. Return to Athens by early evening. B, L |

Day 5 Thu ATHENS (DELPHI) Depart through the fertile plains of Boeotia passing the towns of Thebes and Levadia to Arachova, famous for its colorful rugs. Continue to Delphi, the center of the ancient world. Visit the Treasury, the Temple of Apollo, the Castalia Spring, the Seat of the Oracle, the museum with masterpieces of ancient Greek sculpture such as the Bronze Charioteer and more. Return to Athens by early evening. B, L Day 6 Fri PIRAEUS (CRUISING) The morning you will be transferred to Piraeus harbor to board the cruise ship for a 3 day cruise to the Greek islands. In the afternoon you arrive in Mykonos, a sophisticated international resort with traditional Greek charm. | Day 8 Sun PATMOS-KUSADASI |
| You sail in to Patmos this morning, the quiet & pretty island where St. John wrote the book of Revelations. An optional excursion visits the monastery and the grotto. In the afternoon sail to the Turkish port of Kusadasi. Disembark & transferred to your hotel in Izmir. The remainder of the day is at your leisure. B, L |

Day 9 Mon IZMIR (EPHESUS) Today you will drive to the ancient city of Ephesus. Walk the marble street (Arcadian way), see the Roman baths, the Celsius library, the Theater & more. After lunch you will visit the House of Virgin Mary where she lived her last years. Return to Izmir for overnight. B, L Day 10 Tue IZMIR (PERGAMOS) Drive north along the Aegean coast to the ancient city of Pergamos to visit the impressive site of the ancient city. Highlights include the Sanctuary of Asklipios, the Trojan Temple, the ancient Theater & the Acropolis with the Altar of Zeus. Return to Izmir & transfer to the airport for your flight to Istanbul. | A full day tour of the city visits the 6th century Byzantine Basilica St. Sophia, the 17th century Blue Mosque, famous for its 6 minarets, and the Byzantine Hippodrome. | Day 12 Thu ISTANBUL |
| You will drive to the Asian side of the city. Visit Camila hill, Beylerbeyi palace, the handicraft center on the coast & more. After lunch you will cruise the Bosporus the strait that separates the city as well as Europe & Asia. View famous landmarks such as Dolmabahce palace, Rumeli Hisar fortress, Tower of Leander and more.
