Itinerary

Day 1 Thu DEPART USA
Depart USA via overnight transatlantic flight to Istanbul.

Day 2 Fri ISTANBUL

Upon your arrival at Istanbul’s airport, you will be met, assisted & transferred to your hotel. Remainder of the day is at your leisure.
Day 3 Sat ISTANBUL
A full day tour of the city visits the 6th century Byzantine Basilica St. Sophia, the 17th century Blue Mosque, famous for its 6 minarets, and the Byzantine Hippodrome. After lunch you will visit the famous TopKapi Palace & the Grand Bazaar, the world’s largest covered market with more than 4000 shops. B, L
Day 4 Sun ISTANBUL-CRUISE
Enjoy a morning at leisure. In the afternoon you will transferred to the port of Istanbul to embark the cruise ship for a 5 day cruise to the Greek Islands. You sail in the evening. B, D
Day 5 Mon MYKONOS
Morning at sea. Early in the afternoon you arrive
in Mykonos, a sophisticated international resort
with traditional Greek charm. Whitewashed houses,
flower filled streets, thatched-roof windmills, 300 tiny

churches, friendly tavernas and beautiful beaches
are all yours to enjoy. You sail at midnight B, L, D

Day 6 Tue PATMOS-KUSADASI
You sail in to serene Patmos this morning, the
island dedicated to St. John, its most famous visitor.
Optional tour visits the monastery, which houses
historical & religious treasures & the grotto. In the
afternoon you sail into the Turkish port of Kusadasi,
getaway to Ephesus. Enjoy the surroundings or take
an optional tour to the ancient city with its Temple of
Artemis one of the seven wonders of the ancient world.

Day 7 Wed RHODES
Early this morning you arrive in the medieval Crusader City on the island of Rhodes, one of Europe’s favorite summer resorts. Splendid beaches and shopping, the intriguing walled medieval city of the Crusader Knights, the Artists colony of Lindos each beckons you. Explore on your own or take an optional excursion. You sail late in the evening. B, L, D
Day 8 Thu SANTORINI-HERAKLION
Early this morning you call at Heraklion (Crete), the center of the ancient Minoan civilization. Do not miss an optional excursion to King Minos’ palace at Knossos. At noon you will sail to Santorini. Take a donkey-back ride up to the mountain top village for a splendid panoramic view of the Aegean or an optional excursion to the important Akrotiri excavations. You sail late in the evening. B, L, D


Day 9 Fri CRUISE-ATHENS

Early morning arrival into Piraeus harbor. Disembark after breakfast and transferred to your hotel in Athens. The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore the city on your own. B

Day 10 Sat ATHENS
Highlights of the morning city tour include the House of Parliament, the Memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the University, the National Library, the Presidential Palace, the Panathenaic Stadium, the Temple of Zeus and Hadrian’s Arch. Proceed to the Acropolis to visit the museum and the architectural masterpieces of the golden age of Athens. The afternoon is free for your own activities. B


Day 11 ATHENS-USA
After breakfast at the hotel you will be transferred to the airport for your flight home. B
