Itinerary
Day 1 Sun DEPART USA Depart USA via overnight transatlantic flight to Istanbul. Day 2 Mon ISTANBUL Upon your arrival at Istanbul’s airport, you will be met, assisted & transferred to your hotel. Remainder of the day is at your leisure. Day 3 Tue ISTANBUL A full day tour of the city visits the 6th century Byzantine Basilica St. Sophia, the 17th century Blue Mosque famous, for its 6 minarets, and the Byzantine Hippodrome. After lunch you will visit the famous TopKapi Palace. B, L  |

4 Wed ISTANBUL-TROY-CANAKKALE |

In
the morning you visit the Grand Bazaar, the world’s largest covered
market with more than 4000 shops. Then depart for Kallipolis, the
famous World War I battlefield site. Then you will cross the Dardanelles
by ferry boat and you will drive to Troy to visit the legendary
ancient city famous for its wooden horse. Continue to Canakkale
for dinner & overnight. B, L, D |

5 Thu KANAKKALE-PERGAMOS-IZMIR
Drive to Pergamos to visit the impressive site of the ancient city. Highlights include the Sanctuary of Asklipios, the Trojan Temple, the ancient Theater & the Acropolis featuring the Altar of Zeus. Continue to Izmir for dinner & overnight. B, L Day 6 Fri IZMIR (EPHESUS) Today you will visit the ancient city of Ephesus, the most complete city ever excavated. Walk the marble street (Arcadian way), see the Roman baths, the Celsius library, the Theater & more. After lunch you will visit the House of Virgin Mary where she lived her last years. Dinner & overnight at the hotel. B, L Day 7 Sat IZMIR-SARDES-PAMUKKALE Depart for Sardis the capital of ancient Lydia. Visit the site to see the ruins of the Temple of Cybele, the gymnasium, the new excavation area & the golden river Pactolos. Continue to Pamukkale for dinner & overnight. B, L, D  |

you will visit the cotton-like cascades of the thermal waters in
Pamukkale, then Aphrodisias to see the well preserved stadium, the

9 Mon ANTALYA (PERGE-ASPENDOS) |

breakfast at your hotel a full day excursion with lunch included
takes you to the ancient cities of Aspendos where the best preserved
ancient theater is located. It also includes Perge, to visit the
theater, the stadium and the huge Helenistik & Roman Gates. Diner

10 Tue ANTALYA-KONYA-CAPPADOCIA
Today you will drive to Konya to visit the Mausoleum of Mevlana, 13th century whirling Dervish Monastery. After lunch you will continue to Cappadocia for dinner & overnight. B, L, D Day 11 Wed CAPPADOCIA Today you will visit the natural citadel of Uchisar for a panoramic view of the city of Kaymakli, stablished in the 7th century by Christians fleeing prosecution. After lunch, you visit the Goreme Valley, with its 10th century churches cut out of soft rock with beautiful interior frescoes, then Cavusin, Pasabag & the Avanos Village, famous for its pottery & handicrafts. Dinner & overnight in Cappadocia. B, L, D Day 12 Thu ANKARA-CAPPADOCIA Continue your sightseeing in Cappadocia this morning. sightseeing of Bursa includes the Green Mosque, the green tomb &
