Itinerary
Day 1 Wed DEPART USA Depart USA via overnight transatlantic flight to Istanbul. Day 2 Thu ISTANBUL Upon your arrival at Istanbul’s airport, you will be met, assisted & transferred to your hotel. Remainder of the day is at your leisure. Day 3 Fri ISTANBUL You will drive to the Asian side of the city. Visit Camila hill, Beylerbeyi palace, the handicraft center on the coast & more. After lunch you will cruise the Bosporus the strait that separates the city as well as Europe & Asia. View famous landmarks such as Dolmabahce palace, Rumeli Hisar fortress, Tower of Leander and more. B, L  |

4 Sat ISTANBUL
A full day tour of the city visits the 6th century Byzantine Basilica St. Sophia, the 17thcentury Blue Mosque, famous for its 6 minarets, and the Byzantine Hippodrome. After lunch you will visit the famous TopKapi Palace & the Grand Bazaar, world’s largest covered market with more than 4000 shops. B, L Day 5 Sun ISTANBUL-ANKARA-CAPPADOCIA You will be transferred to the airport this morning for your flight to Ankara. Upon arrival you will start the tour with visits to the ancient citadel, the Mausoleum of Ataturk & the Anatolian civilization museum which exhibits archaeological pieces dating back to the prehistoric age. After lunch in Ankara depart for Cappadocia. Dinner & overnight. B, L, D  Day 6 Mon CAPPADOCIA Today you will visit the natural citadel of Uchisar for a panoramic view of the region, the city of Kaymakli established the 7th century by Christians fleeing prosecution. After lunch a visit to Goreme Valley with its 10th century churches cut out of soft rock with beautiful interior frescoes, then to Cavusin, Pasabag & the Avanos Village famous for its pottery & handicrafts. Day 9 Thu KUSADASI (EPHESUS) Today you will drive to the ancient city of Ephesus  Day 10 Fri KUSADASI-PERGAMOS-CANAKKALE Drive north along the Aegean coast to the ancient city of Pergamos to visit the impressive site of the ancient city. Highlights include the Sanctuary of Asklipios, the Trojan Temple, the ancient Theater & the Acropolis with the Altar of Zeus. After a visit proceed to Canakkale, a small city in the Asian bank of the Dardanelles for dinner & overnight. B, L, D

7 Tue CAPPADOCIA-KONYA-PAMUKKALE
Today you will drive to Konya to visit the Mausoleum of Mevlana. After lunch you will continue to Pamukkale for dinner & overnight. B, L, D Day 8 Wed PAMUKKALE-HIERAPOLIS-KUSADASI Today you will visit the ancient city of Hierapolis to see the ancient Christian remains, then the cotton-like cascades of the thermal waters in Pamukkale. This is truly a breathtaking site. Then to Aphrodisias, one of the most beautiful ancient sites, & continue to Kusadasi for dinner & overnight. B, L, D |

Day 11 Sat CANAKKALE-TROY-KALIPOLIS- ISTANBUL Drive to Troy to visit the legendary ancient city famous for its wooden horse. Then you will cross the Dardanelles by ferry boat and you will continue via Kalipolis, a famous World War I battlefield site, to Istanbul for overnight. B, L |
