Itinerary | Day 1 Fri USA-ATHENS Depart New York via overnight transatlantic flight to Athens with meals on board. Day 2 Sat ATHENS Upon your arrival you will be met, assisted and transferred you to your hotel. After unpacking, enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Day 3 Sun ATHENS Morning city tour takes through the streets of Athens ![]() to see the House of Parliament, the Memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the University, the National Library, the Presidential Palace, the Panathenaic Stadium, the Temple of Zeus and Hadrian’s Arch. Proceed to the Acropolis to visit the museum and the architectural masterpieces of the golden age of Athens. The afternoon is free for your own activities. B Day 4 Mon ATHENS-NAFPLION Depart Athens via the coastal highway to the Corinth canal. Afterwards, Mycenae, where ancient history comes in life with its remarkable Cyclopean Walls, the Tomb of Agamemnon and the 3,000 year old Lion Gate. Continue to the 4th century BC Amphitheater of Epidaurus to test the incredible acoustics. Then proceed to the picturesque town of Nafplion for dinner and overnight. B, D
Day 4 Mon ATHENS-NAFPLION
Depart Athens via the coastal highway to the Corinth canal. Afterwards, Mycenae, where ancient history comes in life with its remarkable Cyclopean Walls, the Tomb of Agamemnon and the 3,000 year old Lion Gate. B, D Day 5 Tue NAFPLION-OLYMPIA Depart Nafplion driving through the rugged terrain of central Peloponnese, home of Pan and the Nymphs passing through the towns of Tripolis and Megalopolis to Olympia one of the most venerated sanctuaries of ancient Greece, site of the original Olympic Games. Visit the Temple of the Olympian Zeus, the remains of the ancient Stadium, the superb museum and more. Dinner and overnight in Olympia. B, D ![]() Day 6 Wed OLYMPIA-DELPHI You will drive through the plains of Elia and Achaia to the city of Patras, the capital of Peloponnese. Then cross from Rion to Antirion and continue passing through the picturesque town of Nafpaktos and the seaside areas of Eratini and Itea to the sacred Delphi, on the slopes of Mt. Parnasus. You will visit the Sanctuary of Athena Pronaia, Castalia Spring and more. Dinner and overnight in Delphi. B, D Day 7 Thu DELPHI-ATHENS Additional sightseeing this morning includes the Sanctuary of Apollo, the Sacred Way and the suburb museum with the famous Bronze Charioteer. After lunch (optional) drive through the Village of Arachova, famous for its colorful rugs and carpets and continue passing through the towns of Thebes and Levadia to Athens, where you will be transferred to your hotel. B Day 8 Fri PIRAEUS (CRUISING) The morning is at leisure in Athens. Late afternoon you will be transferred to Piraeus harbor to board the cruise ship for a 7 day cruise to the Greek islands and Istanbul. Evening sailing. B, D Day 9 Sat ISTANBUL Enjoy a morning at leisure as you sail through the Dardanelles to the Sea of Marmara. In the afternoon Istanbul’s fabled skyline greets you. Early evening arrival. B, L, D Day 10 Sun ISTANBUL A full day in Istanbul to explore the city set on two ![]() continents on your own or take an optional tour to see the Blue Mosque, the St. Sophia basilica, the immense Grand Bazaar and the incredible jewels of Topkapi palace. Evening sailing. B, L, D Day 11 Mon MYKONOS Early afternoon you will arrive to Mykonos, a sophisticated international resort with traditional Greek charm. Whitewashed houses, flower filled streets, thatched-roof windmills, 300 tiny churches, friendly tavernas and beautiful beaches are all yours to enjoy. You sail at midnight B, L, D Day 12 Tue PATMOS-KUSADASI You sail into Patmos this morning the quiet & pretty island where St. John wrote the book of Revelations. An optional excursion visits the monastery and the grotto. In the afternoon sail in to the Turkish port of Kusadasi, getaway to Ephesus, the most complete city ever excavated. Enjoy the lively surroundings or take an optional excursion to the ruins of the ancient city. Evening sailing. B, L, D Day 13 Wed RHODES Early morning you will arrive in the medieval Crusader City of the island of Rhodes. Today one of Europe’s favorite summer resorts. Splendid beaches and shopping, the intriguing walled medieval city of the Crusader Knights, the Artists colony of Lindos each beckons to you. Explore on your own or take an optional excursion. B, L, D Day 14 Thu SANTORINI-HERAKLION Early morning you call at Heraklion (Crete) the center of the ancient Minoan civilization. Do not miss an optional excursion to King Minos’ palace at Knossos. At noon you will sail to Santorini, where a volcanic eruption in 1450 BC may have destroyed the legendary Atlantis. Take a donkey-back ride up to the mountain top village or take an optional excursion to the Akrotiri excavations. Evening sailing. B, L, D Day 15 Fri PIRAEUS-USA Early morning you arrive into Piraeus harbor. Disembark after breakfast and transferred to the airport for your flight home. B Dates & rates
