Itinerary
Choice A:

Day 1 Sun USA-ATHENS

Depart US via overnight transatlantic flight to Athens with meals on board.

Day 2 Mon ATHENS

Upon your arrival you will be met, assisted and transferred to your hotel. After unpacking, time to relax and stroll around.

Day 3 Tue ATHENS-OLYNPIA                                                                                                                                                     N


Depart from our terminal; we are passing by OLYMPIC
 STADIUM to see the Athens 2004 Olympics main
venue. We continue for the CORINTH CANAL (short
 stop). Drive to EPIDAURUS and visit the Ancient
 theatre, world famous for its outstanding acoustics.
Proceed to NAUPLIA (short stop) and through the
plain of ARGOS arrive to MYCENAE. Visit the
archaeological site and the Tomb of Agamemnon.
 In the afternoon (optional stop for souvenirs) depart
 for OLYMPIA, the birth place of the Olympic Games,
 through the cites of Tripolis and MEGALOPOLIS
 (short stop).
Overnight stay in Olympia.

Day 4 Wed OLYMPIA-DELPHI

Visit the archaeological site with the Temple of Zeus, the Temple of Hera, the altar of the Olympic flame, the Stadium and the archaeological Museum. Depart via PATRAS (short stop) to RION, cross the Corinthian bay by the new bridge to ANTIRION. Pass by the city of NAFPAKTOS and from there on,  along the coastal road to DELPHI, known in ancient times as the navel of the world. In the afternoon visit the picturesque mountain village of ARACHOVA. Overnight stay in Delphi.



Day 5 Thu DELPHI-METEORA
Visit the archaeological site, and, the MUSEUM of Delphi. Depart for KALAMBAKA via Central Greece (short stop by Lamia). Overnight stay in Kalambaka (a small town built at the foot of the majestic grey rocks and crowned by the METEORA Monasteries)

Day 6 Fri METEORA-ATHENS
Leave in the morning for nearby Meteora to visit the BYZANTINE MONASTERIES. Return to Athens passing the heroic monument of Leonidas at THERMOPYLAE.











Day 7 Sat ATHENS

Free day. You can choose to jon one of many day tours in Athens. (B)

Day 8 Sun ATHENS

City tour of Athens today includes the House of Parliament, the Memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the University, the National Library, the Presidential Palace, the Panathenaic Stadium the Temple of Zeus and Hadrian’s Arch. Then a visit to Acropolis to see the museum and he architectural masterpieces of the golden age of Athens. The afternoon is free for your own activities. B

Day 9 Mon PIRAEUS (CRUISING)-MYKONOS

Today you will be transferred to Piraeus harbor to board your cruise ship for a 4 night cruise to the Greek islands and Turkey. Early evening you will sail into Mykonos, a sophisticated international resort with traditional Greek charm. Whitewashed houses, flower filled streets, thatched-roof windmills, 300 tiny churches, friendly tavernas and beautiful beaches are all yours to enjoy. You sail late in the evening. B, L, D

Day 10 Tue KUSADASI-PATMOS

Morning sail into the Turkish port of Kusadasi, getaway
to Ephesus. An optional tour takes you to the ruins of

the ancient city where St. Paul once preached. In the
afternoon, see the craggy hills and coves of Patmos
where St. John wrote the book of Revelations. An optional
 tour visits the monastery, which houses an original
manuscript of the gospel and the grotto. Evening sailing.

Day 11 Wed RHODES

Early morning you will sail into the medieval Crusader City of the island of Rhodes one of Europe’s favorite summer resorts. Splendid beaches and shopping, the intriguing walled medieval city of the Crusader Knights, the Artists colony of Lindos each beckons to you. Explore on your own or take an optional excursion. Day 12 Thu HERAKLION-SANTORINI

This morning you call at Heraklion (Crete), the center of the ancient Minoan civilization. Do not miss an optional tour to King Minos’ palace at Knossos. At noon you sail to Santorini, the black pearl of the Aegean. Take a donkey-back ride up to the mountain top village for a splendid panoramic view of the Aegean or take an optional tour to the important Akrotiri excavations. Evening sailing. B, L, D

Day 13 Fri PIRAEUS-USA

Early in the morning you will arrive into Piraeus harbor. Disembark after breakfast and be transferred to the airport for your flight home. B

Day 11 Sun HERAHLION,CRETE-SANTORINI-GREECE

Early morning arrival in Heraklion Visit this pretty town, or take an optional excursion to Knossos only 3 miles way. The palace of Knossos was the administrative center of the whole region. The archeological museum is a real must visit. Depart Herklion for Santorini. Santorini is unique island, considered to be the lost continent of Atlantis .Enjoy the most beautiful sunsets in the world, while relaxing over a cup of coffee or an ouzo. B.L,D










Day 12 Mon PIRAEUS-USA
Early morning you arrive in Piraeus. Disembark after breakfast and transfer to the airport for your flight home. B
