Itinerary

Day 1 Sun USA-ATHENS
Depart New York via overnight transatlantic flight

to Athens.

Day 2 Mon ATHENS
Upon your arrival, you will be met, assisted &
transferred to your hotel. The rest of the evening is free.

Day 3 Tue ATHENS
A  morning city tour introduces you to Athens
& Greece’s antiquities. Sightseeing is highlighted
by the House of Parliament, the Memorial to the
Unknown Soldier, the National Library, the
Presidential Palace, the Panathenaic Stadium,
the Temple of Zeus and Hadrian’s Arch & more.
Visit the Acropolis with the Parthenon & the
Acropolis museum. The afternoon is free for your
own activities. B
Day 4 Wed ATHENS (ARGOLIS)
Drive south to the impressive Corinth canal for a short stop. Continue to Mycenae where history comes in life with its remarkable Cyclopean Walls, the Tomb of Agamemnon and the 3,000 year old Lion Gate. Then proceed to the picturesque town of Nafplion. After lunch you will proceed to the famous 4th century BC Amphitheater of Epidaurus with its astonishing acoustics. Return to Athens by early evening. B, L

Day 5 Thu ATHENS (DELPHI)
Depart through the fertile plains of Boeotia passing the towns of Thebes and Levadia to Arachova, famous for its colorful rugs. Continue to Delphi the center of the ancient world. Visit the Treasury, the Temple of Apollo, the Castalia Spring, the Seat of the Oracle, the museum with masterpieces of ancient Greek sculpture such as the Bronze Charioteer and more. Return to Athens by early evening. B, L

Day 6 Fri PIRAEUS (CRUISING)
The morning is at leisure in Athens. Late afternoon you will be transferred to Piraeus harbor to board the cruise ship for a 7 day cruise to the Greek islands and Istanbul. Evening sailing. B, D
Day 7 Sat ISTANBUL
Enjoy a morning at leisure as you sail through the
Dardanelles to the Sea of Marmara to Istanbul. Evening
arrival at the crossroads of the world, a mixture of
exotic east & bustling west. Evening in port. B, L, D

Day 8 Sun ISTANBUL
Enjoy A full day in Istanbul to explore the city set
on two continents on your own or take an optional
tour to see the Blue Mosque, the St. Sophia basilica,
the immense Grand Bazaar and the incredibe jewels of
Topkapi palace. Evening sailing. B, L, D
Day 9 Mon MYKONOS
Early afternoon you will arrive to Mykonos, a sophisticated international resort with traditional Greek charm.
Whitewashed houses, flower filled streets, thatched-roof windmills, 300 tiny churches, friendly tavernas and
beautiful beaches all yours to enjoy. You sail at midnight B, L, D

Day 10 Tue PATMOS-KUSADASI
Sail into serene Patmos, an island dedicated to St. John, its most famous visitor. An optional tour visits the monastery, which houses historical & religious treasures & the grotto. In the afternoon sail into the Turkish port of Kusadasi, getaway to Ephesus. Enjoy the surroundings or take an optional tour to the ancient city with its Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Evening sailing. B, L, D
Day 11 Wed RHODES
Early morning you will arrive in the medieval Crusader

City of the island of Rhodes, one of Europe’s favorite
summer resorts. Take in its splendid beaches, the
intriguing walled medieval city of the Crusader Knights
nd the Artists colony of Lindos. Explore on your own
or take an optional excursion. B, L, D

Day 12 Thu SANTORINI-HERAKLION
Early morning you call at Heraklion (Crete) the center
of the ancient Minoan civilization. Do not miss an optional excursion to King Minos’ palace at Knossos. At noon you will sail to Santorini. Take a donkey-back ride up to the mountain top village for a splendid panoramic view of the Aegean or an optional excursion to the important
Akrotiri excavations. Evening sailing. B, L, D
Day 13 Fri PIRAEUS-USA
After your early morning arrival into Piraeus harbor,  disembark after breakfast and be transferred to the
airport for your flight home.
