Itinerary

Choice A :

Day 1 Sun USA-ATHENS
Depart New York via overnight transatlantic flight to Athens.

Day 2 Mon ATHENS
Upon your arrival, you will be met, assisted & transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 3 Tue ATHENS
A morning tour threads its way through old and new

 Athens. Highlights include: the House of Parliament,
the Memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the
 Presidential Palace where the Evzones stand guard
in their traditional uniforms, the Panathenaic Stadium,
 the Temple of Zeus and Hadrian’s Arch. Visit the
Acropolis with the Parthenon and the Acropolis
museum. The afternoon is free for your own activities.

Day 4 Wed ATHENS (DELPHI)
Depart through the fertile plains of Boeotia passing the
 towns of Thebes and Levadia to Arachova, famous for
its colorful rugs. Continue to Delphi the center of the
ancient world. Visit the Treasury, the Temple of Apollo,
 the Castalia Spring, the Seat of the Oracle, the
museum with masterpieces of ancient Greek sculpture
 such as the Bronze Charioteer and more. Return to
 Athens by early evening. B, L

Day 5 Thu ATHENS
A day at leisure to explore the city; bargain in Monastiraki, take a cable car ride to Mt. Lycabetus or take an optional excursion. B

Day 6 Fri PIRAEUS (CRUISING)-MYKONOS

Transfer to Piraeus this morning to board the cruise
ship for a three days cruise to the Greek islands and
Turkey. After your afternoon arrival into Mykonos,
enjoy its Winding streets and a sun-drenched harbor
 surrounded by small taverns & overflowing shops &
 galleries. The rest of the day is spent at your leisure
Late evening sail to Kusadasi, Turkey. B, L, D

Day 7 Sat KUSADASI-TURKEY, PATMOS-GREECE
Early morning arrival in Kusadasi.A picturesque town
on the coast, with many opportunities for shopping
Nearby, lies the ancient city of Ephessos, founded by
Athenians. An optional tour to Ephessous will allow
you to discover the treasures of the Greek, Hellenistic
and Roman monuments. See the  Odeon, the
Library of Celsus, the Thermal Baths of Scholastic
and the magnificent Greek amphitheater.  At noon
we leave Kusadasi for the isle of Patmos, arriving 4
hours later. Often Patmos is called the Jerusalem of
the Aegean. It is the sacred island, where St John
the De vine, whilst in exile , wrote the book of the
Revelation. B,L,D

Day 8 Sun HERAHLION,CRETE-SANTORINI-GREECE
Early morning arrival in Heraklion Visit this pretty town, or take an optional excursion to Knossos only 3 miles way. The palace of Knossos was the administrative center of the whole region. The archeological museum is a real must visit. Depart Herklion for Santorini. Santorini is unique island, considered to be the lost continent of Atlantis .Enjoy the most beautiful sunsets in the world, while relaxing over a cup of coffee

Day 9 Fri PIRAEUS-USA
Early morning arrival at Piraeus harbor. Disembark after breakfast and be transferred to the airport for your flight home. B

Day 5 Mon PIRAEUS (CRUISING)-MYKONOS
After a transfer to Piraeus harbor, you will board the cruise ship for 4 day cruise to the Greek islands and Turkey. Arrive in Mykonos and enjoy this sophisticated island with traditional Greek charm. You sail late in the evening. B, L, D

Day 6 Tue KUSADASI-PATMOS
Enjoy a morning sail in to the Turkish port of Kusadasi, getaway to Ephesus. An optional tour takes you to the ruins of the ancient city where St. Paul once preached. In the afternoon serene Patmos awaits you. Here St. John wrote the book of Revelations. An optional tour excursion visits the monastery & the grotto. Evening sail to Rhodes. B, L, D

Day 8 Thu HERAKLION-SANTORINI
After your morning arrival at Heraklion (Crete), enjoy the island that was the center of the ancient Minoan civilization. Do not miss an optional tour to King Minos’ palace at Knossos. At noon you sail to Santorini, the black pearl of the Aegean. Take a donkey-back ride up to the mountain top village for a splendid panoramic view of the Aegean or take an optional excursion to the important Akrotiri excavations. Evening sail to Piraeus.
