Itinerary
Day 1 USA-SAN JOSE Depart USA to San Jose. Upon your arrival you will be met assisted & transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at your leisure. ![]() Day 2 SAN JOSE-IN BIOPARQUE-AERIAL TRAM-SARAPIQUI Drive to IN Bioparque in Costa Rica’s central valley for breakfast & a guided tour. Continue to the Rain Forest Aerial Tram for a guided tour & lunch. Then transfer to Sarapiqui S Centro Neotropico. Check in & enjoy theafternoon at your leisure. In the evening visit the Alma Ata Archeological Park where you will be one with the history of Costa Rica's indigenous people. B, L, D Day 3 SARAPIQUI-TORTUGUERO Depart from Sarapiqui to the embarkation point on Matina river to board the boat for your trip through the waterways of the Tortuguero Canals. For the next two hours you will see the most diversified wildlife. Birds, Monkeys, Ocelots & maybe a Manatee may appear. After arriving at the lodge you can relax & enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Dinner is at the hotel. B, L, D |

4 TORTUGUERO
This morning tour Tortuguero’s canals in smaller boats that will allow you a closer look at the flora & fauna in the canals hard to reach areas. Relax the rest of the day & enjoy the comforting sounds of the nature, fishing, canoeing & exploring on your own. Between May through October an optional night tour is available to see giant turtles coming ashore to lay their eggs. Dinner & overnight B, L, D

5 TORTUGUERO-ARENAL
In the morning you will be transferred to the local airstrip for your short flight to San Jose. Then continue by ground transportation to the Arenal area. Proceed to your Lodge. The balance of the day is at your leisure. B Day 6 ARENAL (VOLCANO-TABACON THERMAL BATHS) The morning is at your leisure. In the afternoon you will visit the Tabacon Thermal Baths Resort where you can enjoy the luscious gardens & pools of therapeutic water heated to a perfect temperature by the Arenal Volcano. The Arenal is Costa Rica’s most active volcano & erupts every moment, providing an unforgettable spectacle of sound & light, lava & ash. B, D |

7 ARENAL-GUANACASTE Today you will be transferred by shuttle bus to Guanacaste province in the North Pacific coast. It is Costa Rica’s largest region with unique towns, fantastic beaches, belching volcanoes & unbelievable wildlife. You will be transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure to enjoy the beach & the beautiful surroundings. B |

9 GUANACASTE-SAN JOSE |

will be transferred to the local airstrip for your short flight
