Choice A:
Day 1 USA-SANTIAGO
Depart USA via overnight flight to Santiago with meals on board.
Day 2 SANTIAGO
Early morning arrival in Santiago, where you will be met, assisted & transferred to your hotel. Santiago, with the snow-capped Andes as its backdrop, was founded in 1541 by Pedro de Valdivia as the first white settlement in the area. Today it is a cosmopolitan city with excellent shopping, a wide range of restaurants and good nightlife. The remainder of the day is at leisure.
Day 3 SANTIAGO

Morning tour takes you through the bustling streets of the city. Highlights include La Moneda Palace, the pre Colombian Art museum featuring textiles from the Indian cultures, Plaza the Armas, the Cathedral, the fine Arts museum, Santa Lucia Hill, site of the city’s foundation, & more. Return to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Perhaps walk at the Plaza the Armas, visit Los Graneros del Alma shopping village, or Belavista a center for art galleries jewelry shops and charming cafes or take optional tours. B
Day 4 SANTIAGO (VINA DEL MAR-VALPARAISO)
You depart from your hotel this morning for a full day tour to Vina del Mar & Valparaiso. After crossing the picturesque Chilean countryside you arrive in historic Valparaiso, Chile’s main seaport, founded in 1536. You will admire the enchanting colonial architecture in the old district. You will visit both the old and modern districts to see Victory Square, dock and wharf area, the Naval Academy, Santa Maria University & more. Continue to Vina del Mar main seaside resort of Chile known as the Garden City along a coast of impressive beauty. Visit includes Plaza Vergara, Sausalito Park, San Martin Avenue & more, Return to Santiago in the evening. B
Day 5 SANTIAGO-BUENOS AIRES
Today you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Buenos Aires where you will be met at the airport, assisted & transferred to your hotel. The balance of the day is at leisure. Perhaps visit Florida Avenue for fine shopping or the artist’s market in Caminito or experience the city’s nightlife for which Buenos Aires is famous. B
Day 6 BUENOS AIRES (CITY TOUR)

Located on the Rio de la Plata, the widest estuary in the world Buenos Aires was founded in 1536 and is considered the most elegant city in South America. Morning tour of the city visits, the historical complex of Plaza the Mayo with the Government House, the historical Cabildo and the Cathedral, Congress Palace & Colon Opera House. Continue to the Italian section of La Boca, the old San Telmo quarters, the beautiful parks and Gardens in Palermo and Ricoleta with its elegant side walk cafes & restaurants. The Remainder of the day is at leisure. B
Day 7 BUENOS AIRES (ESTANCIA TOUR)
Early morning depart to the Pampas to feel another aspect of Argentine life. The Pampas are a blend of traditional Gaucho lore and modern agro-industry. You will visit a typical Argentine Estancia (ranch) to feel the atmosphere of country life, which contrasts so sharply with the life of Buenos Aires. Enjoy an “empanada” and the traditional “asado” barbecue together with live folk and Tango music. The Gauchos will display their riding abilities and a typical “sortija” ring race. B, L
Day 8 BUENOS AIRES-USA
The day is at leisure in Buenos Aires. In the evening you will be transferred to the airport for your flight home. B

Day 8 BUENOS AIRES-COLONIA-MONTEVIDEO

This morning transfer to the harbor to board a high speed Catamaran boat for a 45 minute ride across the La Plata River to Colonia in Uruguay. Colonia Del Sacramento, was founded by the Portuguese in 1680, is a charming coastal city with streets shaded by sycamores and rich in Spanish & Portuguese history. Tour of the city visits the Bastion de San Miguel with the incredible lighthouse rising amid colonial ruins, Plaza de Mayo which has been kept untouched, the cobblestone “Street of Sighs” & more. You will proceed by bus to Montevideo for overnight. B
Day 9 MONTEVIDEO (CITY TOUR)
Montevideo founded in 1726, as a small citadel to provide shelter for its first shelters it’s a modern dynamic city & one of South America’s most beautiful capitals. Morning tour visits the old city, Plaza Indpendencia, Solis Theater, Plaza Matriz, The Cathedral, Plaza del Entrevero with a magnificent sculpture of a horseback skirmish between shelters and Indians, Lagislative Palace & more. The afternoon is free to explore the city on your own. B
Day 10 MONTEVIDEO (PUNTA DEL ESTE)
Today a full day tour takes you along the Atlantic coast through the cities of Atlantida & Piriapolis (brief visits) to Punta del Este, the country’s best and most popular resort and one of South America’s finest. Visit the Peninsula, the Port, El Mir & Brave beaches, Barra de Maldonado with its humped bridge, Punta Ballena & more. Return to Montevideo for overnight. B
Day 11 MONTEVIDEO-USA
The day is at leisure in Montevideo. In the evening you will be transferred to the airport for your flight home. B
