| Day 2 Tue SANTIAGO |
| Early morning arrival in Santiago, where you will be met, assisted & transferred to your hotel. Santiago, with the snow-capped Andes as its backdrop, was founded in 1541 by Pedro de Valdivia as the first white settlement in the area. Today, it is a cosmopolitan city with excellent shopping, a wide range of restaurants and good nightlife. The remainder of the day is at leisure. |

| Morning tour takes you through the bustling streets of the city. Highlights include La Moneda Palace, the pre Colombian Art museum which features textiles fro the Indian cultures, Plaza the Armas, the Cathedral, the fine Arts museum, Santa Lucia Hill, site of the city’s foundation, & more. Return to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Perhaps walk at the Plaza the Armas, visit Los Graneros del Alma shopping village, or Belavista a center for art galleries jewelry shops and charming cafes or take optional tours. B |
| Day 4 Thu SANTIAGO (VINA DEL MAR-VALPARAISO) |

You
depart from your hotel this morning for a full day tour to Vina del
Mar & Valparaiso. After crossing the picturesque Chilean countryside
you arrive in historic Valparaiso, Chile’s main seaport, founded in
1536. You will admire the enchanting colonial architecture in the
old district. You will visit both the old and modern districts to
see Victory Square, dock and wharf area, the Naval Academy, Santa
Maria University & more. Continue to Vina del Mar main seaside resort
of Chile known as the Garden City along a coast of impressive beauty.
Visit includes Plaza Vergara, Sausalito Park, San Martin Avenue &
more, Return to Santiago in the evening. B

| Day 5 Fri SANTIAGO-PUERTO MONTT |
| You will be transferred to the airport this morning for your flight to Puerto Montt. Located on a beautiful setting on the gulf of Ancud the capital of the Lake region was founded by German settlers during the last century and their heritage is evident in its architecture. Upon your arrival you will be transferred to your hotel. The afternoon is at leisure. B |
| Day 6 Sat PUERTO MONTT- CRUISE |
| You will be transferred to the pier this morning to board the M/V Skorpios II for a seven days cruise to the inland-sea channels of southern Chile. It is a wondrous combination of unusual fauna & flora, where Fjords, Glaciers, fishing villages & icebergs combine to dazzle visitors. The ship will sail at 11.00AM, cruise down the Gulf of Ancud, the Chiloe Archipelago and the Corcovado Gulf after midnight. B, L, D |

| Today you will cruise through the channels of Moraleda, Ferronave, Pilcomayo & Costa to arrive at Punta Leopardos. Located 20 miles away from San Rafael lagoon & San Valentine Glacier. B, L, D |
| Day 8 Mon CRUISE (SAN RAFAEL LAGOON) |
| Early morning you set off to San Rafael Lagoon. The ship will drop anchor facing San Rafael Glacier. You can take a morning or an afternoon excursion to take a closer look at the beautiful icebergs of varying hues and the spectacular glacier. The ship sails at 6.30PM for the Quitralco Fjord. | After breakfast visit the local artisan market, the small museum & the church. You depart Castro at 1.00PM navigating through the strait of Castro, Lemuy, Dalcahue & Quicavi & Cabulco chanels to Puerto Montt. Tonight a formal farewell dinner-dance is held on board the ship. B, L, D |
