1 USA-RIO DE JANEIRO
Depart
USA via overnight flight to Rio de Janeiro with meals on board
Day
2 RIO DE JANEIRO
Meeting
& assistance upon arrival in Rio de Janeiro and transfer to your
hotel. The former capital of Brazil sits in one of the world’s most
magnificent harbors, & is considered by many to be the world’s most
beautiful city. The balance of the day is at your leisure.
Day
3 RIO DE JANEIRO (SUGAR LOAF)
Today you will drive along Rio’s famous beaches passing
through traditional & historical sites to the Praia Vermelha cable car station. The
cable car first will take you to the Urca Mountain (mid-way station)
with its gardens & look out points. Then, the second part of the
ride will take you to the peak of the Sugar Loaf Mountain, the guardian
of Guanabara Bay, 1300 ft. above sea level. Return to your hotel.
The remainder of the day is at your leisure. B

Days 4, 5 & 6 RIO DE JANEIRO
Woven
between 20 miles of white sand beaches & trimmed by green rolling
peaks, Rio is a sophisticated center of culture, music, dance &
legendary nightlife. Its breathtaking beauty has made it one of
the world’s most attractive cities. Take three days at leisure to
enjoy this beautiful city. You may chose to enjoy the beach, stroll
around or take optional tours to; Corcovado Mountain about 2200
feet above sea level, to the steps of the 125-foot statue of Christ
the Redeemer, Rio’s signature landmark, to Imperial Petropolis,
summer place of Brazil’s last emperor during the colonial times,
or a schooner cruise/tour to the tropical islands. In the evenings
you might want to experience Rio’s nightlife. Dine in one of the
local Churascarias & enjoy a Samba show in one of the Samba show
houses in Rio. B
