Itinerary

Day 1 Fri USA-BUENOS AIRES

Depart USA via overnight flight to Buenos Aires.
Day 2 Sat BUENOS AIRES

Located on the Rio de la Plata, the widest estuary in the world, Buenos Aires is the most elegant city in South America. You will be met & transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 3 Sun BUENOS AIRES

Morning tour visits the historical complex of Plaza the Mayo with the Government House, the historical Cabildo & the Cathedral, Avenida de Mayo, Congress Palace & Colon Opera House. Continue to the Italian section of La Boca, the old San Telmo quarters, the beautiful parks and Gardens in Palermo and Ricoleta with its elegant side walk cafes, restaurants and its famous cemetery. The afternoon is at leisure for your own activities. B
Day 4 Mon BUENOS AIRES
A day at leisure in this city of remarkable contrasts perhaps visit Florida Avenue for fine shopping, the artist’s market in Caminito, the charming cafes & restaurants in La Boca & San Telmo or take optional tours. B
Day 5 Tue BUENOS AIRES- USHUAIA
You will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Ushuaia on the Beagle Channel in Tierra del Fuego. This fascinating region ranges from barren desolate landscape raked clean by high winds to pine and beech forests, beautiful blue lakes and snow-capped mountains. You will be transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon you will visit the most important sites of Ushuaia & the end of the world museum. B
Day 6 Wed USHUAIA (NATIONAL PARK)-MARE AUSTRALIS CRUISE

In the morning you will visit Tierra del Fuego’s National Park to see Rio Pipo farm, Canadon del Toro, Monte Susana, Lago Roca and the Wood house. In the afternoon you will embark the M/V Mare Australis. Today you will sail through the Beagle Chanel. Dinner on board. B, D

Day 7 Thu MARE AUSTRALIS CRUISE

You will sail through the Beagle & Murray Chanels to Cape Horn national park, a natural sea wall 425 meters high which was discovered in 1626 by a commercial expedition from Netherlands. Later you will disembark to Walaia bay on of the most important indigenous sites of the region. B, L, D
Day 8 Fri MARE AUSTRALIS CRUISE
You will sail the Garibaldi fjord to enjoy beautiful views of the Glacier & the impressive snow fields of the Darwin range. You will make a short stop to admire the sea lions, after which you will continue navigating through O’Braian & Ballenero channels, Bahia Desolada, Paso Aguirre & Brecknock Channel. B, L, D
Day 9 Sat MARE AUSTRALIS-PUERT NATALES
In the morning you will disembark in Magdalena island, home of an enormous penguin colony We’ll take a walk to San Isidro lighthouse which used to guide the sailors through the Magellan strait. You will disembark before noon in Punta Arenas from where you will depart by regular bus to Puerto Natales. B.
Day 11 Mon EL CALAFATE (PERITO MORENO CLACIER)
A full day tour takes to Perito Moreno Glacier. One of the largest active continental glacier in the world, it is declared by UNESCO a “Universal Patrimony of Humanity”. It flows into the south arm of Argentine Lake breaking into glistening icebergs with a deafening roar. You will walk on the footbridge front of this natural wonder. B
Day 12 Tue EL CALAFATE-BUENOS AIRES-USA
You will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Buenos Aires to connect with your flight home. B
