Depart
USA via overnight flight to Buenos Aires with meals on board.

2 Sat BUENOS AIRES
Located
on the Rio de la Plata, the widest estuary in the world, Buenos
Aires is the most elegant city in South America & one of the world
most cosmopolitan. You will be met & transferred to your hotel.
The remainder of the day is at leisure.
Day
3 Sun BUENOS AIRES
Morning
tour visits the historical complex of Plaza the Mayo with the Government
House, the historical Cabildo & the Cathedral, Avenida de Mayo,
Congress Palace & Colon Opera House. Continue to the Italian section
of La Boca, the old San Telmo quarters, the beautiful parks and
Gardens in Palermo and Ricoleta with its elegant side walk cafes,
restaurants and its famous cemetery. The afternoon is at leisure
for your own activities. B

4 Mon BUENOS AIRES-PUERTO MADRIN |
|
Transfer
to the airport for your flight to Trelew in Patagonia. You will
be met at the airport and transferred to Punta Tombo to see the
fascinating penguin nesting center where over 1 million Magellanic
Penguins gather here. Then you will be transferred to the hotel
in Puerto Madrin. Founded by Welsh settlers,, it is the so-called
center of marine activities in the area. The remainder of the day
is at leisure. B |

5 Tue PUERTO MADRIN (PENINSULA VALDES) |

Full
day tour today to Peninsula Valdes, a marine life preserve for Sea
Elephants, Sea Lions, Maras, Magellanic Penguins, Rheas and other
animals. Drive through the Ameghino Isthmus between New and San
Jose Gulfs to visit Caleta Valdes, the habitat of Sea Elephants,
Punta Delcada and Puerto Piramide where there is a Sea Lion Rookery.

6 Wed PUERTO MADRIN-USHUAIA |
|
You
will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Ushuaia on
the Beagle Channel in Tierra del Fuego. A fascinating region, it
ranges from barren, desolate landscape raked clean by high winds
to pine and beech forests, beautiful blue lakes and snow-capped
mountains. You will be transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon
you will visit the most important sites of Ushuaia & the end of
the world museum. B |

7 Thu USHUAIA (NATIONAL PARK) |
In
the morning you will visit Tierra del Fuego’s National Park to see
Rio Pipo farm, Canadon Del Toro, Monte Susana, Lago Roca and the
Wood house. The afternoon is at leisure or perhaps you take an optional
boat trip on the Beagle channel to enjoy spectacular views of the
Darwin range & to visit the Sea Lions & Cormorants Island. B

8 Fri USHUAIA-EL CALAFATE |

Today
you will fly to El Calafate or Rio Galegos. You will be met and
transferred to your hotel in El Calafate, a charming town surrounded
by beautiful plateaus at the shores of Lago Argentino. Balance of

9 Sat EL CALAFATE (PERITO MORENO GLACIER) |
|
A
full day tour today visits the Perito Moreno Glacier. One of the
largest active continental glaciers in the world, it is declared
by UNESCO a “Universal Patrimony of Humanity”. It flows into the
south arm of Argentine Lake breaking into glistening icebergs with
a deafening roar. You will walk on the footbridge front of this
natural wonder. B |

10 Sun EL CALAFATE (UPSALA GLACIER-ORNELLI BAY)
You
will drive to Punta Bandera on Lago Argentino to board a boat for
a full-day Lake excursion. Lago Argentino is one of the two lakes
still fed by glacial water. Its particular turquoise color is due
to the sediments and minerals of the mountains that remain suspended
on the lake since their specific weight is lower to the water’s.
You will sail through hundreds of blue icebergs to see the Upsala
Glacier and (weather permitting) the Ornelli Bay. B

You
will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Buenos Aires.
You will be met & transferred to your hotel. Settle in & relax.

Take
a full day at leisure in this city of remarkable contrasts. Perhaps
visit Florida Avenue for fine shopping, the artist’s market in Caminito,
the charming cafes & restaurants in La Boca & San Telmo. In the
evening you will be transferred to the airport for your flight home.

you will be transferred to the bus station and travel by regular
bus transportation to the fishing town of Puerto Natales in Chile
where you will be transferred to the Costa Australis hotel. The

2 PUERTO NATALES-TORRES DEL PAINE
You
will drive north for a full day excursion to Torres del Paine National
Park, a world biosphere reserve, one of the wildest & most fascinating
places in the world. A vast variety of wildlife can be seen along
the way. You will visit all the main places on the park. In the
evening you will return to Puerto Natales. B, L
